When it comes to Harry Potter crafts, it seems like knitters get to have all the fun. The Harry Potter movies use many knitted costumes, from hats and scarves to sweaters and socks, which fans have been replicating for years. Furthermore, several characters in the novels are known to knit (Molly Weasley, Hermione Granger, and, surprisingly, Hagrid).
For those who are intimidated by sweater patterns, or who love the ease and versatility of crocheting, these smaller-scale Harry Potter crochet patterns will delight crafters and Harry Potter fans alike.
Most of these patterns are not online yet; the photos are just a sampling of the projects that I have already created. Several new patterns will be posted each week, and the links to these will be added as they appear. The first of these patterns is the Hogwarts house scarves.
Patterns for Umbridge's doily and Luna Lovegood's scarf are now online as well.

Each of these photos depicts an original creation. Several of the designs were inspired by photos found online, but the patterns are entirely unique and written by the author.

I know its been a long time since anyone posted on this site, but I am curious to know if you are able to offer any more patterns for the awesome Harry Potter items you have created. My sister LOVES HP and I am trying to think of ideas for her. All I see on this page is a link to the scarves. Is there maybe another site I should be looking at?
